Hi, I’m Qimei, a product designer. I turn vague problems into AI products that ship.

Before jumping into flows or screens, I try to understand what the experience is meant to change, both for the people using it and for the business behind it.

Much of my recent work has been in AI career products, which has made me think a lot about guidance, trust, and how people move through uncertainty.

I’m especially interested in the emotional layer behind product behavior: why people hesitate, what makes advice feel meaningful, and how words like “personalization” or “confidence” quietly shape what teams choose to build.

I do my best work in thoughtful, fast-moving teams where questions are welcomed and design is part of figuring out what the product should become.
